To receive any apologies for absence.
2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
All Members who believe they have a personal or prejudicial interest in any matter to
be considered at the meeting must declare that interest and, having regard to the
circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Council's
Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed,
save for exercising any right to speak in accordance with paragraph 12 of the Code.
The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.

5. DEPUTATIONS
The Regulatory Committee has approved a scheme which involves the suspension of
Standing Order 21 to allow Members to ask questions of deputees. Standing Order 21
will be suspended to allow questions of clarification of facts to be put to all deputations
on an agenda item. Questions from Committee Members will be asked through the
Chairman who may seek the advice of the Committee's legal and the other advisers as
appropriate : the Chairman's decision on a question will be final. Local Members who
request to speak at Committee may also be asked questions.

minor alterations to the barn and the importation of wood waste (biomass) fro the purpose
of producing 300 kilowatts of electricity for sale to the National Grid and 600 kilowatts of
heat for use in nearby farm buildings, at Upper Slackstead Farm, Braishfield, Romsey.
