    6. TRANSPORT FOR SOUTH HAMPSHIRE STATEMENT `

    `TOWARDS DELIVERY'.

    To consider the report of the Hampshire Director of Environment on proposals for a

    Transport for South Hampshire Statement `Towards Delivery' as the basis of the

    transport strategy and packages of interventions required to deliver the growth agenda.

    7. CO-ORDINATED TRAFFIC CONTROL AND TRAVEL INFORMATION

    To consider the report of the Portsmouth Head of Transport and Street Management

    on the interim conclusions of the study into the merits and methods of closer working

    between those responsible for traffic control and travel information South Hampshire.

    8. TRANSPORT FOR SOUTH HAMPSHIRE BUDGET 2008/09

    To consider the report of the Hampshire Director of Environment on the proposed

    revenue budget for 2008/09,taking account anticipated income from a variety of

    sources to enable the partnership to proceed in delivering a number of strategies and

    studies, prior to the design and implementation of a range of projects and schemes.

    9. MULTI AREA AGREEMENT

    To consider the report of the Hampshire Director of Environment on emerging

    transport outcomes and associated enabling measures for the transport element of the

    draft Partnership for Urban South Hampshire Multi Area Agreement, for negotiation

    with Government and seeking authority for officers in consultation with the Chairman

    to negotiate the final Multi Area Agreement with the Government as part of the

    Partnership for Urban South Hampshire negotiating team.

    10. DEVELOPING THE EVIDENCE BASE

    To consider the report of the Hampshire Director of Environment on the progress with

    assessing the transport data and analysis tools required to provide a robust evidence

    base for the Transport for South Hampshire strategy to be delivered.

    11. INTEGRATED TRANSPORT AUTHORITY STATUS

    To consider a report of the Portsmouth Head of Planning Services on the Local

    Transport Governance proposals contained in the Local Transport Bill, implications

    for South Hampshire and recommendation that further work be carried out on the

    advantages and disadvantages of Transport for South Hampshire seeking Integrated

    Transport Authority status.
