1. TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER - TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF WORLDHAM FOOTPATH 27

To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage seeking authority to make a temporary closure in respect of footpath 27 in the Parish of Worldham, and to submit the same to the Secretary of State for approval.

2. PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD FOR CULTURE - RUSHMOOR BOROUGH COUNCIL

To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage on the establishment of a Public Service Board for Culture for Rushmoor.

3. COMMUNITY BUILDINGS FUND 2008/09

To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage seeking approval to partnership funding totalling £29,124 for allocation from the Community Buildings Fund for 2008/09.

4. PARTNERSHIP FUNDING FOR THE REVENUE AND PROJECT COSTS OF COMMUNITY ASSOCIATIONS 2008/09

To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage seeking approval to partnership funding totalling £42,039 for the revenue and project costs of community associations in 2008/09.

5. PARTNERSHIP FUNDING FOR VOLUNTARY BODIES AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS 2008/2009 - SPORT AND PHYSICAL RECREATION

To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage seeking approval to partnership funding totalling £12,000 to be distributed from the 2008/09 budget to the development of gymnastics across Hampshire.

6. ARTS ACTIVITY FUNDING 2008/09

To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage seeking approval to funding totalling £28,800 to be awarded for Arts Activities.

7. ARTSWAY

To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage seeking approval to increase from £15,000 to £35,000 the revenue grant to Artsway in order to support the necessary audience development and education posts long-term.

8. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

RECOMMENDATION:


That the public be excluded from the remainder of the meeting as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present during Item 9 there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within Paragraph 3 of Part I of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, and further that, in all the circumstances, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person or organisation, for the reason set out in the report at Item 9.

9. SUPPORT FOR THEATRE ROYAL, WINCHESTER

To consider the exempt report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage on support for the purchase of an advanced website and content management system.
