2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

    All Members who believe they have a personal or prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare that interest and having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed, save for exercising any right to speak in accordance with paragraph 12 of the Code. The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.

6. LOCAL GOVERNMENT PENSION SCHEME - NEW LOOK SCHEME FROM 1 APRIL 2008

      To consider a report of the County Treasurer updating the Panel on the introduction of the new look Local Government Pension Scheme from 1 April 2008.

7. COST SHARING IN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT PENSION SCHEME

      - GOVERNMENT CONSULTATION

      To consider a report of the County Treasurer seeking the Panel's views on cost sharing in the Local Government Pension Scheme.

8. ADDITIONAL VOLUNTRY CONTRIBUTIONS (AVC) - SERVICES PROVIDED BY ZURICH FINANCIAL SERVICES GROUP

      To consider a report of the County Treasurer providing an update on the provider of Hampshire's in-house additional voluntary contributions Scheme.

9. PENSIONS ADMINISTRATION STRATEGY

      To consider a report of the County Treasurer concerning the establishment of a Pensions Administration Strategy.

10. ADMITTED BODY STATUS - RESPONSE TO GOVERNMENT

      CONSULTATION

      To consider a report of the County Treasurer updating the Panel on the Government's consultation on Admitted Body Status provisions.

11. PART-TIME PENSION CLAIMS - UPDATE

    To consider a report of the County Treasurer on progress made regarding claims from part-time employees in the Local Government Pension Scheme.

12. ACTUARIAL VALUATION AT 31 MARCH 2007

        To consider a report of the County Treasurer summarising the outcome from the valuation of the Hampshire Pension Fund at 31 March 2007 and for other local authorities funds.

13. ANNUAL PERFORMANCE REVIEW OF NORTHERN TRUST AS GLOBAL CUSTODIAN OF THE HAMPSHIRE PENSION FUND

    To consider a report of the County Treasurer reviewing the services provided by Northern Trust as global custodian of the Fund.

14. CASH MANAGEMENT

        To consider a report of the County Treasurer reviewing the policy for managing the Fund's cash balance.

15. ACQUISITION OF GOODMAN PROPERTY INVESTORS BY ABERDEEN ASSET MANAGEMENT

    To consider a report of the County Treasurer providing an update following Aberdeen Asset Management's acquisition of Goodman Property Investors.

16. VIEWS ON WIDENING THE SELECTION OF INVESTMENTS

    To consider a report of the Panel's Independent Adviser seeking the views on widening the selection of types of investment available to pension funds.

17. STRUCTURED PRODUCTS

    To consider a report of the County Treasurer seeking the views of the Panel regarding structured products.

18. CURRENCY MANAGEMENT

    To consider a report of the County Treasurer reviewing the options for currency management.

19. EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC

    That the press and public be excluded from the meeting as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present, there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972, being information relating to the County Council's business or financial affairs which should not be disclosed for the reasons set out in the reports.

    To consider an exempt report of the County Treasurer providing an update on the Alternative Investments portfolio.
