1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
To receive any apologies for absence.
2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
All Members who believe they have a personal or prejudicial interest in any matter
to be considered at the meeting must declare that interest and having regard to the
circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Council's
Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is
discussed, save for exercising any right to speak in accordance with paragraph 12 of
the Code. The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.

To confirm the Minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 27 March 2008.
4. CHAIRMAN'S COMMUNICATIONS
5. GOVERNANCE OF THE RIVER HAMBLE
To consider the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage making recommendations to the Cabinet concerning the River's governance arrangements.
6. FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT
To consider the report of the Chief Executive concerning approaches to the handling and determination of requests for disclosure in particular circumstances.
7. DRAFT ANNUAL GOVERNANCE STATEMENT
To consider the report of the head of Corporate and Legal Services and Monitoring Officer seeking the Committee's approval to the draft annual governance statement.
8. DRAFT STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS 2007/08
To approve the Statement of Accounts.
9. ANNUAL INTERNAL AUDIT OPINION 2007/08
To consider the report of the County Treasurer inviting the Committee to accept the internal audit assurance statement and to agree that progress be reported mid-year to the Committee.
Note:
Discussion in relation to Appendix D of Item 9 will require the Committee to resolve to exclude the Press and Public by virtue of paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.
