To consider the report of the Acting Director of Property Business and Regulatory Services seeking approval to a scheme to provide a new post-16 provision at this college.

2. SOPLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL, NEW FOREST

To consider the report of the Acting Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services seeking approval to the design project appraisal for an extension scheme at Sopley Primary School, New Forest .

3. BUDGET MONITORING 2008/09 - CHILDREN'S SERVICES DEPARTMENT - PERIOD 5 (AUGUST 2008)

To consider the report of the County Treasurer and Director of Children's Services on revenue budget monitoring for the financial year 2008/09.

4. NURSERY PROVISION FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS (SEN)

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services seeking agreement to a strategy for improving nursery education for children with special educational needs and about a proposal to consult on an extension of the age range of Shepherd's Down Special School in Winchester to make provision for children aged 2-11 years.

5. SURE START CHILDREN'S CENTRES - PHASE III STRATEGY

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services on a proposed delivery strategy for the development of phase 3 Sure Start Children's Centres within Hampshire.

6. PROPOSAL FOR A NEW SPECIAL PROVISION AT CROFTON SCHOOL

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services about a proposal being discussed with Crofton School to establish at the school, provision for young people with a severe Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

7. GRANGESIDE - CONVERSION OF THE PUPIL REFERRAL UNIT (PRU) ON THE PACK LANE SITE IN BASINGSTOKE PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS BASINGSTOKE SCHOOL PLUS INTO A SPECIAL SCHOOL CATERING FOR PUPILS WITH BEHAVIOURAL EMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL DIFFICULTIES

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services about consultation which has taken place with interested parties on the proposal to convert the Pack Lane PRU into a secondary special school catering for both boys and girls aged 11 to 16 years of age and seeking approval to a "competition notice" being published inviting interested parties to bid to establish and run the new school.

8. INTEGRATED SUPPORT PROCESS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services seeking approval to grant applications for 2008/09 form former Connexions funding which is being administered by the Commissioning Coordination Team.
