TRANSPORT FOR SOUTH HAMPSHIRE JOINT COMMITTEE
A meeting of the Transport for South Hampshire Joint Committee will take place on
Friday 17 October 2008 at 10am in the Sir James Matthews Building, Solent University Conference Centre, 157-187 Above Bar Street, Southampton when your attendance is requested.

To receive any apologies for absence.
2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
All Members who believe they have a personal or prejudicial interest in any matter to
be considered at the meeting must declare that interest and, having regard to the
circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Councils' Code
of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed, save
for exercising any right to speak in accordance with paragraph 12 of the Code.
The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.

5. TRANSPORT FOR SOUTH HAMPSHIRE RESPONSE TO SOUTH EAST
PLAN
To consider the report of the Southampton Director of Environment seeking approval
to submit the Joint Committee's proposed comments on the Government's proposed
modifications to the South East Plan.
6. SOUTH HAMPSHIRE AGREEMENT - HIGHWAYS MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING
To consider the report of the Hampshire Director of Environment seeking approval of
the Memorandum of Understanding for Highways.
7. TRANSPORT FOR SOUTH HAMPSHIRE FINANCIAL MATTERS -
PERFORMANCE AND PROGRESS
To consider the report of the Hampshire Director of Environment updating the Joint
Committee on a number of financial matters and seeking approval for the Transport
for South Hampshire Project Director to authorise revenue and capital expenditure.
8. BUS RAPID TRANSIT - SOUTH EAST HAMPSHIRE
To consider the report of the Hampshire Director of Environment setting out details of
the South East Hampshire Bus Rapid Transit project, and seeking approval to submit
a Full Business Case to the relevant Government Departments.
9. MODELLING - EVIDENCE BASE
To consider the report of the Hampshire Director of Environment summarising the
current position and seeking approval to proceed with the development of the
necessary evidence base.
