2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

All Members who believe they have a personal or prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare that interest and, having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed, save for exercising any right to speak in accordance with paragraph 12 of the Code. The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.

To approve the annual report.

8. SE HAMPSHIRE/PORTSMOUTH GCSE STUDENTS' CONFERENCE

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services on the SE Hampshire/Portsmouth GCSE Students' Conference, held in July.

9. COMMUNITY COHESION PROJECT

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services providing an update on the progress of the Community Cohesion Project in Hampshire.

10. INTERFAITH CALENDAR 2009

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services on the Young Peoples' Interfaith Calendar competition.

11. MONITORING SUBGROUP

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services on the activities of the Monitoring Subgroup.

12. THE PREVENT STRATEGY

To consider the report of the Director of Children's Services summarising action in response to the government paper "The Prevent Strategy: A guide to local partners in England. Stopping people becoming or supporting terrorists and violent extremists"

13. DATE OF NEXT MEETING

To note that the next meeting will be held at 2.00 pm on Tuesday 24 February 2009 at The Castle, Winchester.
