PART I - EMPLOYMENT IN HAMPSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL COMMITTEE

1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

To receive any apologies for absence.

2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

    All Members who believe they have a personal or prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare that interest and having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed, save for exercising any right to speak in accordance with paragraph 12 of the Code. The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.

3. MINUTES

To confirm the Minutes of the meeting held on 22 January 2009.

4. CHAIRMAN'S ANNOUNCEMENTS

To receive any announcements the Chairman may wish to make.

5. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

RECOMMENDATION:

      That the press and public be excluded from the meeting as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of the proceedings, that if members of the public were present, there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within Paragraphs 1 or 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972, being personal information or information relating to the County Council's business or financial affairs which should not be disclosed for the reasons set out in the report.

To consider an exempt report of the Chief Executive.

7. APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN

To appoint a Chairman for this part of the meeting.
