A. NON-CONFIDENTIAL KEY DECISIONS
1 APPROVAL OF THE NEXT STAGE OF THE SUBSTANCE MISUSE STRATEGIC REVIEW - THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN (FOLLOWING CONSULTATION)
To consider the report of the Director of Adult Services outlining proposals relating to the future delivery and commissioning arrangements for substance misuse services in Hampshire, following a period of formal consultation.
2 TRANSFER OF COMMISSIONING FROM THE PRIMARY CARE TRUSTS TO THE LOCAL AUTHORITY FOR SOCIAL CARE FOR ADULTS WITH A LEARNING DISABILITY
To consider the report of the Director of Adult Services seeking approval for the proposed transfer of commissioning costs and responsibility for social care for adults with a learning disability in Hampshire.
3. EXTRA-CARE HOUSING: ANDOVER AND GOSPORT
To consider the report of the Director of Adult Services seeking endorsement for the decision to tender for the provision of 24-hour care and support for two new-build Extra-Care Housing schemes in Hampshire; one in Andover and one in Gosport.
B. NON-CONFIDENTIAL NON-KEY DECISIONS
4. WRITE OFF OF IRRECOVERABLE DEBTS 2008/09
To consider the report of the Director of Adult Services seeking Executive Member approval for write off of eleven cases of debt over £5, 000 considered to be irrecoverable and to advise of two write-backs of over £5,000 that are required to be reported for information.
5. APPOINTMENT TO OUTSIDE BODIES TO BE MADE BY THE EXECUTIVE MEMBER
To consider making appointments to outside bodies within the Adult Social Care portfolio.
6. EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC
Recommendation:
That in relation to the following item the press and public be excluded from the meeting, as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of proceedings, that if a member of the public were present during the items there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within Paragraphs 3 (agenda items 7 and 8) and Paragraph 5 (agenda item 7 only) of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, and further that in all circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exempt information outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information, for the reasons set out in the respective report.
