1. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

    All Members who believe they have a personal or a personal prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare that personal interest and having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed. The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.

To confirm the Minutes of the Meeting of the Committee held on 9 July 2009.

3. CHAIRMAN'S COMMUNICATIONS

    To receive any communications the Chairman may have for this meeting.

4. ARTSWAY

      To receive a presentation from Artsway on its work.

5. RENAISSANCE SOUTHEAST

    To consider the report from the Director of Culture, Communities and Rural Affairs on Renaissance Southeast - the Museums development programme for the region and Hampshire County Council's role within it.

6. SITES OF SPECIAL SCIENTIFIC INTEREST UPDATE

    To receive a report from the Director of Culture, Communities and Rural Affairs providing an update on the condition of the Sites of Special Scientific Interest within the County.

7. STRATEGIES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE VISUAL ARTS AND LITERATURE

    To consider the report on the County Council's draft Visual Arts and Literature Development Strategy which is to be presented to the Executive Member for Culture, Communities and Recreation.

8. HARD TO REACH GROUPS

    To receive the Cabinet's response to the recommendations of the Hard to Reach Groups Review Panel.

9. STRATEGY FOR LEARNING OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM

      To consider the report on the County Council's Learning Outside the Classroom strategy which is to be presented to the Executive Member for Culture, Communities and Recreation.

10. WORK PROGRAMME

      To consider the Committee's forthcoming Work Programme.
