    A. KEY DECISIONS (NON-EXEMPT/NON-CONFIDENTIAL)

    1. SUBSTANCE MISUSE STRATEGIC REVIEW IMPLEMENTATION - TENDERING AND PROCUREMENT

    To consider a report from the Director of Adult Services seeking (i) approval to tender for that Hampshire substance misuse treatment system as part of the implementation phase of the Substance Misuse Strategic Review and
    (ii) single tender approval to extend the existing substance misuse contracts to bring them into line with the proposed process and commencement of the new treatment system.

    2. IMPLEMENTATION OF SELF DIRECTED SUPPORT

    To consider a report from the Director of Adult Services asking the Executive Member for Adult Social Care to (i) note the work to date, the projected financial impact of SDS and the remaining work due for completion prior to April 2010 and (ii) following the completion of the necessary process design, systems development and training, grant approval to proceed with the phased implementation of SDS starting in April 2010(noting the proposals for monitoring and control during the rollout period).




    3. OLDER PEOPLE AND PHYSICAL DISABILITIES CONTRACTING
    STRATEGY


    To consider a report from the Director of Adult Services seeking approval for single tender extensions of the existing block Older People and Physical Disabilities contracts to allow for service types to be clustered together with simultaneous end dates.

    4. REVIEW OF COMMISSIONING ARRANGEMENTS FOR SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT FOR PEOPLE WITH A LEARNING DISABILITY

    To consider a report from the Director of Adult Services recommending that the Executive member for Adult Social Care gives approval for a full tendering process to provide a supported employment service for people with a learning disability.

    B. NON- KEY DECISIONS (NON-EXEMPT/NON-CONFIDENTIAL)

5. ADULT SERVICES GRANTS TO PUMP PRIME NEW INNOVATIONS

      To consider a report from the Director Adult Services recommending approval to award grant funding totalling £26,000 in 2009/10 to pump prime new projects and activities.

    6. BUDGET AND PERFORMANCE MONITORING 2009/10 - PERIOD 1 APRIL 2009 TO 30 SEPTEMBER 2009

    To consider a report from the Director of Adult Services recommending that (i) the relevant performance data and the update on the 2008/11 Workforce Plan be noted and that (ii) the requested virements outlined in the report be approved.

    7. EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC

    Recommendation:

      that in relation to the following items of business the press and public be excluded from the meeting, as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted or the nature of proceedings, that if a member of the public were present during the items there would be disclosure to them of exempt information within paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, and further that in all circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exempt information outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information, for the reasons set out in the respective report.
