Eastleigh and Winchester

Eastleigh is nestled between Winchester and Southampton and is easily commutable from London. The town is currently undergoing a metamorphosis, aided by substantial investment, and there is a real buzz about the town, as it becomes recognised as a hub for contemporary arts. The Point – converted from the old Town Hall and adjacent library – is now a centre for performance, with emphasis on dance, innovative new productions, community clubs, and classes.

Winchester, in the heart of the County, is known for its unique heritage and historical landmarks, including the Winchester Cathedral, which plays host to one of the country’s best-loved Christmas markets ever year. Beyond the history of the city, the University and arts college breathe life into the community, and more and more restaurants, bars and cafes are joining the high street, making Winchester a fantastic place to live, learn and work.

Hart and Rushmoor

Hart and Rushmoor is a unique and diverse community, meaning our social worker teams are multicultural and embrace differences. We cater for the local demography, where for over 6% of residents, English is their second language. Incorporating the towns of Farnborough and Aldershot, the district boasts unique events and locations, including the Farnborough Airshow and Runway’s End Outdoor Centre. Therefore, it’s no surprise that Hart was named the most desirable place to live in the UK in 2017.
