Spotlight on Occupational Therapy
As part of the continued growth and development of the Reablement Service within Hampshire, we are excited to share the progression opportunities Occupational Therapists have within the service.
Through service redesign we have developed a fantastic career journey to enable our Occupational Therapists to progress. We have recently introduced the roles of Advanced Practitioners and a Lead Occupational Therapist. These roles are there to support excellent standards of practice across both the Reablement Service and the wider department. This is encompassed by the four pillars of professional practice, facilitation of learning, leadership and education, research & development. (Royal College of Occupational Therapists, 2021).
