Women’s Network

Our Women’s Network is all about improving gender equality at every level of our organisation. We want to see more women in leadership and equal representation across all professions. Everyone, regardless of gender, is welcome to join the network.

The aims of the Women’s Network are to:

• promote gender equality throughout the organisation, ensuring women have opportunities to lead at every level
• work together with the organisation to make sure women's issues get the attention they deserve and offer advice on policies and practices at the County Council
• signpost to support and advice on women's health issues like perimenopause, menopause, periods and endometriosis
• identify where support or advice is needed and create a welcoming space for colleagues to connect and help each other

Menopause Workplace Pledge

Hampshire County Council has signed up to the Menopause Workplace Pledge. This means we're committed to supporting our staff through this important time in their lives.
