Species recording
There are many active recording groups collecting wildlife information in Hampshire
HBIC has set up data exchange agreements with many species recording groups, allowing it to hold copies of their datasets, updated at regular intervals.
HBIC encourages everyone to send their records to the relevant group or scheme through Living Record, iRecord or by using the recording group’s own system. This allows the local experts to check all data before passing it on to HBIC. Details of all the recording groups in Hampshire.
Records will only be accepted if they have gone through the appropriate channels.
A Privacy Policy applies to use of Recorder names.
If you are unable to send your records through Living Record or by using the recording group’s own system you can download an Excel table for data entry.
For all records have a look to see what constitutes a good record. Please note your records will also be sent on to the appropriate species recording group.
