Archaeological advice for planning
The County Archaeological Service provides archaeological advice to local planning authorities in Hampshire
This excludes Winchester District and the New Forest who have their own archaeological advisors.
Advice can involve:
- correspondence about policy and development management
- contact with local planning officers
- contact with applicants
- contact with archaeological contractors
