Practice and governance
To enable the delivery of least restrictive practice, it is necessary to understand and record what restrictive practices are used and with what frequency. It is necessary to understand the events leading up to use of restrictions and to be able to learn from incidents of restrictive practice. Robust governance structures and practice are required.
