The Hampshire Hive - You won’t be on your own when you foster

1,800 Miles for 1,800 Children

This Foster Focus Week (26 October to 1 November), we're asking Hampshire to come together and help complete 1,800 miles for 1,800 children.

The challenge represents the 1,800 children and young people currently in care across the county. Whether you choose to walk, wheel, run or cycle, every mile counts towards raising awareness of fostering and the vital role foster carers play in changing young lives.

Throughout the week, you can log your miles (or steps) and follow our collective progress here on our website as we work towards the 1,800-mile target.

By taking part, you'll be helping to shine a light on the need for more foster carers and showing support for children and young people in care across Hampshire.

This hub helps with the initial recruitment and support of foster carers.
