Queen Elizabeth Country Park
Off the A3, south of Petersfield
Queen Elizabeth Country Park is Hampshire's largest country park. Located at the western end of the South Downs National Park, the park is dominated by three hills, the chalk downland of Butser and the beautiful woodlands of Holt and War Down. With exhilarating bike trails suitable for all levels, it’s a great place to get off the beaten track. Refuel at Beechwood Kitchen with a refreshing hot or cold drink and locally sourced food.

River Hamble Country Park has a rich history that reaches far back through the centuries, with scenic spots, historical landmarks and more. From walking trails to wildlife spotting, there are plenty of ways to enjoy our lovely country park. Make sure you stop by the Barn for a tasty treat.

Stroll through Staunton Country Park’s beautiful Grade II listed Regency parkland and explore our plant collections, formal gardens and follies. There’s so much to discover, from our walled garden to Champion trees, plus plenty of walking and cycling trails suitable for all ages and abilities. It’s a fantastic family day out. Make sure to stop by the Regency Tea Rooms for a hot drink and a slice of cake.
