Road safety

We would like remind all visitors that lots of vehicle movements do take place throughout the country park and that due care and attention should be exercised by all when in the vicinity of a roadway, track and within car parks.

We would like to remind drivers that there is an imposed 10mph speed limit within the park grounds and encourage dog owners to have dogs on short leads whilst walking along roads and within car parks.

We encourage all drivers to give way to crossing pedestrians and give cyclists a wide berth where possible. There are speed humps located within the park, please be aware that not slowing down for these could result in damage to your vehicle. All speed humps comply with highway standards.

Thanks you for your cooperation in helping to keep Royal Victoria Country Park a safe place to visit.
