Volunteering
Volunteers make a real difference, and each opportunity provides its own experience
If you’re looking for the perfect chance to build on your skills, help preserve our beautiful country park or give something back to your local community, volunteering is a great option.
With the Royal Victoria Country Park site including the Royal Victoria Chapel, we can offer a range of volunteering opportunities to suit different skills and interests.
Help to maintain the country park with roles including conservation and access improvements. You can also support the park reception and shop. At the Chapel, volunteers can get involved in a variety of roles, including demonstrating historic artefacts, storytelling, assisting with events, welcoming visitors and leading guided tours and tower visits.
Student placements and work experience
We are pleased to offer placements and work experience to students at local colleges and universities, supporting students to gain CV-boosting experience and contributing to the Royal Victoria Country Park and Chapel.
