Christmas opening times
Open as usual except for:
Chapel: Closed 23 to 31 December
Park shop: Closed 25 and 26 December
Café: Closed 25 December. Open 10am to 3:30pm on 26 December and 9:30am to 3:30pm on 1 January. Limited menu and last orders 30 minutes before closing.

Barbecues and picnics

Enjoy eating al fresco in our country park

Make a day of it at Royal Victoria Country Park and enjoy eating outdoors with spectacular views of Southampton Water and our woodland.

There are picnic areas throughout the park in addition to seven separate BBQ sites to hire. These can cater for groups of between 30 and 100 people. Each BBQ area also offers a dedicated space for games, ranging in size from 180m² to a massive 2500m².
