This year's Heritage Open Days exhibition, created by our dedicated Heritage Hub volunteers, explores the working lives of people connected to Leigh Park from the 1800s to the present day. From gardeners and midwives to shopkeepers, nurses and wartime workers, the exhibition brings local history to life through personal stories, photographs and memories.
Featuring fascinating accounts of local figures, this volunteer-researched exhibition offers a fascinating glimpse into Leigh Park's past and shines a spotlight on the people behind Leigh Park's history.
The exhibition will run at the Coach House Visitor centre from 11th- 20th September.
Join us on Saturday 19th from 10:30am-2:30pm for a special opening, where you can meet some of the Heritage Hub volunteers who will help you uncover the stories behind the place we know today.
