14 March 2023 11am to midday

Shell house folly at Staunton Country Park

Our free 'Talk and Walk' focusing on the impact that Sir George Staunton and later William Stone had on the parklands. Looking at the changes they made to the parkland landscape through their buildings and follies.

We meet in the Coach House Courtyard ready to start at 11am. Talk and Walk will finish approximately 12pm. The last 25mins of the talk will finish with a brief walk around the parklands giving the opportunity to observe the landscape today and to ask questions. We advice to wear suitable clothing and footwear to cope with uneven terrain and inclement weather.

Please note car parking charges apply to those who are attending the talk.

We have a tearooms available onsite to purchase tea, coffee, cakes and warm snacks, please see Tearooms at The Coach House for menu options and prices.
