At Sir Harold Hillier Gardens we label our plants and trees in the collection. This provides important information and distinguish between one collection and another.
Plant names are usually in Latin. The cultivar name (in inverted commas) can be in any language.
The engraved labels are made in house by a team who reference our database and work with our botanist.
As you can imagine ensuring that all the plants in the collection are labelled is a huge undertaking.
