Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS)
Improving minibus safety by working with your organisation to improve driver standards.
The MiDAS scheme works with your organisation to improve driver safety. MiDAS trains Driver Assessors (DAs) within your organisation, and the DAs train your drivers. Once your drivers are certified, they can drive minibuses for any MiDAS member organisation without being reassessed.
MiDAS also offers specialist training for accessible minibuses. Written material is available to back up all training courses and each organisation receives the "Minibus Driver's Handbook", produced by MiDAS.
