MiDAS Transformation update
MiDAS was first developed by Hampshire County Council back in the 1990's in response to several accidents involving minibuses. Since this time, the materials have been updated periodically but the way the scheme operates has remained the same. We are committed to providing the best possible training product which is up to date and stays in step with the modern world to ensure that it remains as relevant today and, in the future, as it was at its conception.
We, with our partners the Community Transport Association (CTA) have embarked on a journey to transform the MiDAS product to ensure that it continues to meet these objectives. Both standard and accessible MiDAS for minibuses has been transformed and has been rolled out across the UK. Further work is currently being undertaken to look at more modules available under the MiDAS umbrella.
