- Scheme overview
-
This scheme delivered a wider and safer route for pupils accessing Morelands Primary School, using land owned by Havant Borough Council. The previous path was steeply graded and completely inaccessible to mobility-impaired users. Access and safety improvements for all, particularly for families and individuals with limited mobility.
The scheme was approved for implementation by the Director of Universal Services on 5 June 2025. See the Decision Record.
This project supports Hampshire County Council’s Local Transport Plan 4 (LTP4), which aims to improve travel options, make walking and cycling safer, and help people get around more easily in their communities. - Roadworks and Travel Advice
