Elections and voting

The Parliamentary General Election will take place on Thursday 12 December 2019.

Parliamentary elections are managed by the local district/borough/unitary council within which the parliamentary constituency falls.  For any queries relating to the election please contact your local council.  Weblinks to the election pages of each council’s website are below:

Every four years the County Council holds an election for all of its electoral divisions.

County councillors use local knowledge to help the Council make decisions on the essential services provided to its residents and communities. On Thursday 4 May 2017, Hampshire voters went to the polls to choose their representative on Hampshire County Council. Some County Councillors may also be elected to a district or borough council in Hampshire and several of these councils also held elections on Thursday 2 May 2019. The County Council’s next election will be held in May 2021.
