Partners and purpose

About us

Founded in 2014, the Hampshire Shared Services Partnership was established with the key objectives of delivering efficient services to release savings for partners and ensure resilience and capacity for the future. By achieving these objectives, we enable all our partners to protect their vital frontline services.

Who we are

The Hampshire Shared Services Partnership is a diverse collaboration that includes partners from local government, schools, fire and rescue services, and the constabulary.

We are proud to be the UK’s largest public sector shared services partnership, supporting around 85,000 employees and enabling the delivery of services to approximately three million residents.

We joined the Shared Services Partnership in 2015 to take costs out of our back-office services and protect front line jobs.

The partnership is committed to delivering our shared goals and we welcome the positive impacts this brings, because in addition to delivering quality back-office services the model is based on a proactive environment for enhancing the services we share.

We look forward to continuing to realise the benefits of working as part of the Shared Services Partnership, so we can continue to focus on delivering front line services to the residents of Oxfordshire.
