About the Southern Internal Audit Partnership

The Southern Internal Audit Partnership (SIAP) was established in 2012 and is hosted by Hampshire County Council. As one of the largest providers of public sector internal audit in the region, we employ approximately 70 audit professionals and deliver over 10,000 audit days each year, across a diverse portfolio of 30+ public sector organisations. 

We provide an integrated assurance service that brings together internal audit, specialist IT audit and counter fraud expertise within a single delivery model. By combining a broad range of professional skills and experience, we offer a flexible, responsive and resilient service tailored to the needs of our partners and clients.

Our commitment to quality and service excellence has been independently recognised through our most recent External Quality Assessment.

We work collaboratively with organisations to strengthen governance, risk management and control arrangements, helping them achieve their strategic objectives and deliver improved outcomes for the communities they serve.
