Gain new experiences, meet new people, challenge yourself and have fun

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) is the world’s leading youth achievement award, giving millions of 14 to 24 year-olds the opportunity to be the very best they can be.

There are three Award programmes:

  • Bronze Award – for young people aged 14+ (from Year 9)
  • Silver Award – for young people aged 15+ (from Year 10)
  • Gold Award – for young people aged 16+

The DofE Award within Hampshire is operated by Hampshire Outdoors.

As a centre supporting 100 students and 30 volunteers, Hampshire’s support is essential to delivering a high‑quality DofE programme. Their guidance on safeguarding, leader training, eDofE, award registration, and expedition approvals gives us complete confidence. The funding opportunities and coordinator forums are invaluable.

We simply wouldn’t run DofE without Hampshire — their standards and support mean we always feel backed and protected.
