About the team
The team sits within the Universal Services department of Hampshire County Council.
We are the Hampshire County Council lead in managing risks posed by asbestos and deliver services to ensure compliance with asbestos legislation. We are a UKAS accredited testing laboratory No. 0024 and a UKAS accredited inspection body No. 0161. We deliver asbestos testing and inspection services for Hampshire County Council and other clients, including Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Services and Isle of Wight Council.
