  • It makes sure services give people the help they need
  • It helps make services better for the people who use them
  • It helps people feel listened to and respected

Who is involved?

Many different people work together in co-production:

  • People who use services. They are called Experts by Experience
  • This means they share their ideas to help improve services
  • Carers and families
  • Hampshire County Council staff
  • Health and care professionals

Groups that help with co-production

Here are different groups in Hampshire that work together to co-produce:

  • Personalisation Expert Panel (PEP)
    This group includes disabled people and carers who share their ideas
  • Hampshire Autism Partnership Board
    Autistic people and their families help improve support
  • Carers Partnership Board
    People who care for others talk about what help they need
  • Learning Disability Partnership
    People with learning disabilities and carers work together to improve services
  • Older Adults’ Partnership
    Older people and carers share ideas to make services better
  • Direct Payment Partnership Board
    People who get money to choose and pay for their own care help improve how it works
  • Hampshire Voices
    People who have experience of suicide help improve support and prevention
  • Authentic Voice Panel
    People who have lived through domestic abuse share their experiences to help improve services

How to get involved?

There are different ways you can get involved in co-production

  • Your ideas can help improve services for everyone through co-production
  • You can join a group to share your thoughts and experiences
  • You don’t need any special skills – just your ideas
  • We want people from lots of different backgrounds
  • We want to hear from you about good examples
