Fostering Hampshire Children were thrilled to offer Hampshire foster families free tickets to see ‘Pinocchio – The Pantomime’ at the Chameleon Theatre this January
The Chameleon Theatre Company is a small amateur dramatics society based in Chandlers Ford. Based at the Ritchie Memorial Hall, the Chameleons stage four productions a year in the 100-seat theatre.
The foster families had a fantastic time!
One foster carer said: “The show was amazing; all the kids and adults loved it”
Another said: “We had a fabulous time! Our cheeks hurt from laughing…a fun evening had by audience and actors alike! Our 16yr old certainly got into the panto spirit!”
In the photo, the children can be seen helping the hapless cast escape from the whale that swallowed them up, by tickling the inside of the whale’s mouth aided by the friendly octopus!
Speaking on behalf of the Chameleon’s, Nick Coleman said “It is so rewarding to see the children enjoying the magic of pantomime and live theatre. The magic of panto, storytelling, and children’s imaginations”
Fostering Hampshire Children would like to wholeheartedly thank Nick and the wonderful team at The Chameleon Theatre for their generosity, sensitivity and infectious merriment!
