An NHS Health Check is a free check-up of a person’s overall health. It assesses the risk of getting certain common diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease and stroke, and it can help to identify ways to reduce this risk.

Invitation-led service
NHS Health Checks are available every five years for all Hampshire residents aged 40 to 74 who do not have certain pre-existing conditions. Further information about eligibility can be found at: NHS Health Check
Outreach service
Hampshire County Council has also commissioned an outreach provider called Randox. Randox can attend workplaces or events to undertake free NHS Health Checks. Email: [email protected] for further information or to arrange a visit.
If someone is eligible for an NHS Health Check and but cannot access one through their GP surgery, they can visit the Randox website or call Randox on: 0800 2545 452 to find out how to access a health check. The individual must be registered with a GP.
