Updating NHS HCs payment details:
Practices wishing to update their bank account details for NHS Health Check payments must do so via the Supplier Self Service Portal: Supplier Self Service for existing suppliers.

Please note that changes cannot be processed via email. Due to data protection and fraud prevention requirements, bank details must be updated directly by the provider through the portal. To help ensure payments are made accurately and without delay, practices are encouraged to keep their bank details up to date within the system. Outdated or incorrect information may result in delayed or misdirected payments.

Point of Care Testing (POCT)
Searches and coding

The Professional Record Body NHS Health Checks coding defines how NHS Health Check data should be captured and managed.

Those working with practices can access training via Ardens Academy login (each practice should have its own login).

From 1 April 2026, under the new NHS Health Checks service specifications, practices are no longer required to use Hampshire specific searches for identifying eligible patients or for payment reporting. We recommend that practices use the existing Ardens search suite and refer to Ardens guidance for instructions on how to run and use searches within their clinical system (EMIS or SystmOne). Ardens provides user guides and support materials, including how to:

  • Locate and run searches
  • Generate call and recall lists
  • Extract activity data

These searches are standardised and aligned with current NHS Health Check programme requirements and replace the Hampshire specific searches previously used.
