Access

We aim to support people with disabilities and complex care needs to experience all that Staunton has to offer. Contact us if you have any concerns or questions about your visit.

We allow pushchairs and wheelchairs into the farm but not any type of bicycles, in-line skates, scooters, ride ons, or pull along type vehicles.

We offer:

  • free entry for one carer with each paying visitor. Please provide proof of being a carer, such as a current Compass card, i-go card, a letter from Disability Support Services, Personal Independence Payment (PIP) letter, Disability Living Allowance letters (DLA), access cards, yellow cards, Disabled Identification (DID) card, appropriate Travel / Leisure Cards, and blue badges (please take a photo of your badge as the badge must be displayed in your vehicle). Gateway cards will be accepted as long as original email and digital card is shown
  • 3 disabled parking bays in the car park
  • accessible gravel paths throughout the farm and gardens
  • a small sensory garden, containing plants with a range of textures, colours and smells
  • 3 accessible toilets (visitor centre, tearooms and courtyard toilet block)
  • a Changing Places toilet in the visitor centre for visitors with severe learning or other disabilities
