Yurts
Escape the city and enjoy a yurt retreat with family or friends at Runway’s End - a peaceful woodland hideaway just an hour from London and set beside the tranquil Basingstoke Canal.
Stay close to nature with modern comforts just steps away, including individual shower and toilet cubicles, washing up areas, and access to fridges, freezers and drinking water.
Designed with families in mind, the fully gated site has keycoded access and no roadways beyond the car park, giving children the freedom to explore safely. A large games field and open woodland offer plenty of space to play, relax and unwind.
For families seeking adventure, Runway’s End offers a wide range of bookable activities including kayaking, canoeing, climbing, archery and artificial caving. These experiences make the weekend exciting and memorable for children and adults alike.
The surrounding Aldershot and Farnborough area is packed with family-friendly attractions, from Birdworld and local museums to outdoor pools and scenic canal-side walks and cycle routes.
With the M3 only ten minutes away, it’s the perfect, easy weekend escape — a tranquil space where families can slow down, reconnect and make lasting memories under the trees.
