Accommodation

Forge Lodge at Runway's End Outdoor Centre

Forge Lodge

accessible accommodation for up to 86 people (across 12 rooms), with adjoining bathrooms. Facilities include a drying room and fully equipped kitchen and dining room.

10 pods (capacity for 40 people) with underfloor heating. Facilities include a communal space for cooking/inside dining and access to the accessible toilets and shower block.

Our centres offer healthy and nutritious catering packages that can accommodate all dietary requirements.

We take pride in using suppliers who source locally produced food and daily hand-cooked meals that ensure all meals are fresh and tasty.

  • Forge Lodge accommodation is all on ground floor level and has dedicated bedroom and toilet facilities for those with accessible needs.
  • Our camping pods are less suitable for those in wheelchairs due to the limited capacity inside them. However, we are happy to make adaptations in advance of your visit to make the space more comfortable for a wheelchair user – please just let us know in advance.

  • We offer fantastic land and water-based activities onsite. With friendly, knowledgeable staff and adaptive equipment we can ensure that those with mobility limitations can take part. Get in touch to find out more about our accessible activities.

Challenge Programme at Runways End Outdoor Centre

This programme offers the largest array of low ratio activities. Young people will work in close-knit teams of up to 12 per instructor to conquer new challenges and develop lasting confidence.
