Calshot Activities Centre
One of the best known outdoor centres in the country, Calshot is located near Southampton, on the Solent, with stunning views across to the Isle of Wight
The centre is well positioned to offer watersports, as well as having an indoor hangar which hosts an impressive climbing wall, velodrome, dry ski slope and more. Calshot provides a diverse range of environmental education opportunities with a dedicated field studies centre for all curriculum stages.

We have three accommodation blocks that sleep 180 people. Most rooms feature comfortable bunk beds and sleep between three or four people. Our dormitory style rooms can sleep six, eight or ten people.
Each building contains showers and toilets, and some also include drying rooms and communal space for groups to relax and unwind in the evenings.
Catering
Our centres offer healthy and nutritious catering packages that can accommodate all dietary requirements.
We take pride in using suppliers who source locally produced food and daily hand-cooked meals that ensure all meals are fresh and tasty.
Accessibility
Site
- Accessible toilet and shower, parking and wheelchair access.
- The Hangar is largely accessible to those who use a wheelchair, however there is uneven ground surrounding the Hangar and the Castle.
