Getting here by bus
To get to Stubbington Study Centre by bus, you'll primarily use First Bus services like the X5, 5, or 21, connecting from hubs like Fareham Bus Station or Southampton, with the X5 and 5 routes going directly through Stubbington towards Gosport/Lee-on-the-Solent, dropping you near the Centre. Always check current timetables online for specific times and potential diversions.
Getting here by rail
The nearest train station is Fareham Station, approximately 4 miles away. Bus services depart from this station frequently. From here passengers can take the number 5 Gosport Interchange bus to Seamead. Then it’s just a short walk (0.2 miles) to the study centre.
Parking
Parking is free and available (however, it is limited) for all guests/activity participants. To protect our wonderful local wildlife and make parking available to those who need it, please try and bring as few cars as possible.
There is a pay-to-use EV car charging point available.

The grounds
We make sure our outdoor areas are as accessible as possible. We have access to a Landeez all-terrain wheelchair in case of muddy ground caused by poor weather.
Accommodation
Our facilities are fully wheelchair accessible. The sleeping accommodation includes accessible washrooms (one of which includes a hoist and changing table), toilets and bedrooms. Some of the bedrooms have been fitted with panic alarms.
Should an individual require particular 1 to 1 care overnight, our clinic includes an accessible toilet and shower, and adjacent carer’s bedroom.
Opening times
Our office hours are: 9am - 5pm Monday to Thursday; 9am - 2pm Friday. The office will be closed during weekends, bank holidays and most of the school holidays. The only exception being when we run our public day camps during some of the school holidays.
