How to change the vehicle registration on a resident permit

Log in

On the MiPermit page, log in to your account. You can do this by entering your credentials and password into the fields provided. Select Login.

Choose Register if you need to setup a new account.

Choose Buy Digital Permits.

Then choose Vehicle Change Permits

Application page

The permit type is set to Resident Vehicle Change Request by default.

Choose Browse to upload the evidence required from your device. The documents should be saved to your documents folder or photographs/pictures on your device.

In Application Notes, provide the details requested in the Notes field.

When completed choose Finish or Add to Basket (This can be used when also purchasing other permits).

Authorisation

The vehicle change application has been submitted for authorisation.

The County Council aims to process the request on the same working day if the application is submitted before 3pm. We aim to process any applications submitted after 3pm on the next working day.

You will receive an email confirming when the change of registration has been updated on your permit.
