Duties
The Lord-Lieutenant, Vice Lord-Lieutenant and Deputy Lieutenants organise, host and attend a wide range of events
- arranging Royal visits to the county
- celebrating the achievements of the people of Hampshire
- giving recognition to businesses, voluntary service, faith groups and charitable organisations
- supporting the Armed Services
Hampshire Lieutenancy Office
In Hampshire the role of the Clerk to the Lieutenancy is carried out by the Chief Executive of the County Council.
Support to the Lieutenancy is provided by a Lieutenancy Officer and PA to the Lieutenancy.
