All ceremony fees quoted here include a £90 non-refundable booking fee. The booking fee is payable when you make a booking with Hampshire Ceremonies. This secures your selected date and time.

The full ceremony fee is payable 3 months before your ceremony date.

Registrar attendance fees

If you are getting married in a religious venue which doesn't have someone authorised to sign the marriage document, you will need to book a registrar.

Current fees are £209 including two marriage certificates and a non-refundable booking fee of £90.

Statutory Marriage and Civil Partnerships are available at the Winchester Register Office on selected dates, subject to availability. This is a simple ceremony/appointment that takes place in a functioning office with only 2 witnesses permitted to attend. The cost for the ceremony includes one legal certificate and is £68.50.

Cancellation policy

In the event that you need to cancel a ceremony for which you have already paid, you will be required to provide a minimum of three calendar months’ notice in writing to be eligible for a full refund excluding the non-refundable booking fee. Any requests for a cancellation inside this timescale will also need to be made in writing and will be subject to the following guidelines:

  • One to three calendar months’ notice of cancellation – 50% refund
  • Less that one calendar month notice of cancellation (or failure to cancel) – no refund
