Driver training courses
We offer high quality training for users of minibuses, cars, MPVs (Multi-Purpose Vehicles), and wheelchair accessible vehicles, including D1 Licence and MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) awareness. This training is specifically available for users in Hampshire County Council departments, schools, colleges, voluntary organisations, and charities.
Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS) training
MiDAS certifies a candidate to a nationally recognised standard of competence for driving minibuses. Our expert trainers will guide you as you improve your confidence, gain transferable skills, and achieve a nationally recognised qualification.
D1 licence training
D1 training qualifies you to safely drive a minibus and carry up to 16 passengers. At Hampshire Transport Management (HTM), our team will support you throughout the process, from obtaining your provisional D1 licence to undertaking and passing your theory and practical tests.
Why train with HTM?
When you complete your training with Hampshire Transport Management, you’ll complete a thorough and comprehensive programme guided by one of our professional and experienced trainers. Our small class sizes (up to five delegates) provide a space for focussed and supported learning, giving you plenty of time to ask questions and fully understand the material.
We want our courses to be accessible to public and third-sector employees across Hampshire, so we can also provide flexible arrangements and payment plans.
