The County Council ‘s Strategic Procurement Team is the joint service supporting both the Council, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service and also provides procurement services to a number of other public bodies including Unitary, District, Borough, Parish/Town Councils and National Park Authorities.
We work with and welcome bids from all types of organisations including large, small and medium sized enterprises and voluntary/community organisations.
Local Government Reorganisation
The Government has announced its intended future structure of local government across Hampshire and the Solent area and has selected a proposal to create five new unitary councils which will be established on 1 April 2028.
At this stage, there are no immediate changes. Hampshire County Council remains fully responsible and accountable for delivering its services as usual until the new councils are in place.
