We work closely with our customers to understand what they need and provide pragmatic solutions to employee relations situations assisting them to move issues forwards. We also work on identifying trends across all of our customer groups and work proactively with our HR colleagues to address them.
Policy and Reward
Our scope of work is broad and varied, at the heart of which is the drive to be the leader of progressive HR policy and practice in the public sector and beyond. We research, benchmark and review the approach of our organisations towards managing employee relations issues and find solutions to implement legislative requirements and national and local pay changes.
We lead transformational projects across our partners to achieve large scale change in terms and conditions, working practice, or TUPE transfers. We work closely with Business Partners and managers to ensure employees are supported through change and that the process is delivered effectively.
Our Strategic Resourcing team support our partners on a range of resourcing activities and projects to ensure we can meet all of our future resourcing needs.
We deliver people development and change services targeted at leaders and managers. We specialise in building capability, performance and positive behavioural change across our partners. We ensure that managers and leaders are equipped with the skills and behaviours they need to deliver sustainable, high quality services for our communities.
We work with the business to gain insight into current and future people development needs - ensuring our people have the right skills to respond effectively to change and deliver high quality activity.
Skills, Behaviours and Commissioning
Using business intelligence from the people change team, we turn this into learning interventions. Our focus is on changing skills and behaviours through the design and delivery of workshops and modules. We also offer facilitation, coaching and psychometric feedback.
We design online blended learning products that add to and enhance our face to face delivery. This could include a screen recording to assist with a systems process, a video scenario, designing an e-learning package or setting up forums and blogs to help customers learn collaboratively.
Our Recruitment team work closely with managers to attract and appoint the right candidates to vacancies. This includes advertising, selection, appointment and the processing of pre-employment checks as well as the issuing of contractual paperwork.
We co-ordinate the movement of uniformed officers and staff within Hampshire Constabulary and Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service and co-ordinate changes required to their structures in the HR system. We work closely with Recruitment and are responsible for strategic forecasting and planning for these services, statutory reporting and external secondments.
Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service
We provide information to our customers to help them manage their staff's wellbeing by advising on regulatory requirements and health and disability aspects.
