Welcome to our tranquil outdoor centre and bunkhouse, nestled in the heart of the New Forest near Lyndhurst. Surrounded by 7 acres of serene meadows, woodlands, and wildlife-rich grounds, this is a peaceful haven for groups seeking connection with nature, with each other, and with a slower pace of life.
Wander through woodlands, relax by the ponds, visit the chickens and friendly sheep, or gather in the roundhouse. Our vegetable garden and meadows offer a true taste of rural life.
Located in the charming village of Minstead, with its medieval church, cosy pub, and village store, you’re also just steps away from the vast open landscapes of the New Forest National Park. It’s a paradise for walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers.
Our space is ideal for respectful groups such as family gatherings, yoga or wellness retreats, creative workshops, and spiritual or educational getaways. We kindly ask that guests looking for a party venue look elsewhere, this is a place for calm, not chaos.

The Bunkhouse
Sleeps 20 adults | from £650 per night
Our timber-framed bunkhouse, constructed in 2005, offers warm and welcoming accommodation year-round, with underfloor heating and a large log-burning stove.
For groups slightly larger than 20, please enquire and we’ll be happy to discuss options for your stay.

The Victorian Schoolhouse
The original Victorian school building, located alongside the bunkhouse, is also available. This includes two extra twin bedrooms (at an additional cost), a dining room, a professionally equipped kitchen and a large classroom.
The available classroom is adaptable and can be used as an extra dining area or as a presentation/performance area.

Catering facilities
Our professionally equipped kitchen is available for you during your stay.
The kitchen includes a large oven (and hobs), along with plenty of countertop space for food preparation. A fridge and freezer are also available.
Directly alongside the kitchen is our dining room area, able to seat up to 40 people.
If your group requires catering, please contact the centre to discuss availability in advance.
Parking
The playground area has enough space for eight vehicles, with an additional eight spaces available outside of the Centre's gates. Our sheep field can accommodate up to 10 additional vehicles for groups exceeding this number, but this is only available during summer months due to the ground conditions. Note that parking numbers are approximate.
There is an EV car charging point available.
Groups planning events larger than this should arrange alternative parking or transport arrangements.
Parties
To preserve the rural and tranquil nature of our site, and due to our neighbouring properties, we are not a suitable venue for parties (including stag and hen), and outdoor music is not allowed. We require all outdoor noise to be finished by 10pm and no outdoor noise before 7.30 in the mornings.
We ask all guests to adhere to our quiet times and help us maintain the calm, restorative atmosphere that makes this place so special.
